O'CONNOR COULD BE OK FOR KILLIE

27th November 2000

After the boost of Saturday's long-awaited first League win, United spent Monday finalising their preparations for Tuesday night's home clash with Kilmarnock. And despite being stretchered off with an ankle injury, Sean O'Connor, scorer of United's first goal in the 3-2 success over Dunfermline, has a chance of facing Killie.

"Sean has actually been able to do some training, but the problem is that, as well as his knock, he has now gone down with what looks like food poisoning, so we will have to see how he is on Tuesday," said boss Alex Smith.

Craig Easton will miss out through suspension after his red card against the Pars, but David Partridge is back from a ban and could figure in the squad.
