Pre contract signing Dusan Pernis was today introduced at Tannadice by Manager Craig Levein.
The 25 year old Slovakian international goalkeeper agreed a pre contract arrangement in the summer to enable him to join the Club on 1 January on a two and a half year deal after the expiry of his existing contract with MZK Zilina.
His contract with MZK Zilina has now been terminated early and this will allow him time to settle in at Tannadice until international clearance can be obtained when the next transfer window opens.
Pernis made 46 appearances for MZK Zilina last season and made his full international debut in August of this year in a friendly international against Iceland.
Manager Craig Levein said, "Dusan began training with the lads this week, after signing the release forms with his old club. It's good to be able to bring him in a bit earlier than January so he can get his family settled and become acclimatised."
