The Club has today been contacted by AEK Athens to advise that Thursday night's Europa tie will be switched to an alternative venue in Athens, due to an unplayable pitch in the Olympic Stadium.
Initially, it was mooted to sources that the tie would be moved to Volos - some 300 km away - but AEK have now informed the Club that the match will take place in Athens, with further information expected later today.
As soon as this is received and confirmed by UEFA, we will update the website.
We have been informed that the alternative venue must be advised to UEFA by 12 noon (CET) on Tuesday, 24 August.
