United rode their luck at times, but were able to pick up the three points against a battling Motherwell side. By Greg Watson Charlie Telfer and Jarek Fojut had United 2-0 up, before Simon Ramsden pulled a goal back in the 78th minute. Telfer sealed the win with a stoppage-time third.
