Harry Souttar Signs Contract Extension

Harry Souttar has today extended his contract with Dundee United. The 17-year-old defender has been with the Academy since July 2013 and signs a contract securing him to the Club until 31st May 2018. Souttar has already featured in several first team matchday squads and has also listed as substitute on several occasions. Speaking to ArabZONE.co.uk, Head Coach Mixu Paatelainen said, “Harry is a player with plenty of talent and is currently gaining experience with first team players. He is someone who offers technical ability and willingness to win the ball.” A delighted Harry said, “I am very pleased to have signed the extension and excited for the challenge ahead. My goal is to keep playing well in the development squad and work towards making my debut for the first team.” Harry will be part of the Development squad who will take on Hamilton Accies at St Andrews Uni on Wednesday 12.30pm.
