EXTRA TIME FOR INTERNATIONALIST DANNY

Norther Ireland cap Danny Griffin has been offered some 'extra-time' over the holiday period. While his team mates are due to commence pre-season training next week, Griffin has been granted another week off due to his recent international exploits.

The ex-St Johnstone star will, however, be taking part in United's mid-July trip to Holland, with Canadian skipper Jason de Vos the only first team squad member who won't be 'going Dutch.'

Behind the scenes, negotiations are ongoing with regards to fixing up appropriate opposition for United during their stay in the Netherlands.
