REBUILD WITH RAY - 2423 SEASON TICKETS SOLD

13th June 2016

Ray McKinnon spoke to dufc.co today as the Club revealed they are just short of 50% of the way to achieving season ticket sales targets for the 2016/17 season and had a message for United fans that the signings will come but they will be the right ones and not just quick fixes. “My message to the fans is clear - I want to bring in possibly seven or eight players and I am working hard to get these players in. I have to be patient and hold my nerve. I could go out today and bring in several players but they wouldn't be the players I want or we need. “It is great news that we have almost reached the halfway stage in our 5000 season ticket target because this is where the budget to improve the squad comes from. The United fans have been fantastic with me since I took over and you can feel the passion for this Club from every fan you speak to. I know what is needed to equip us for the season ahead and with the progress already made, we will see signings start to arrive very shortly. The Gaffer managed to secure a week’s holiday just after his appointment but admit’s that it has been pretty much a 24-hour working day with the number of calls he is receiving from agents offering players. Ray said, “The sheer number of players offered has been absolutely incredible but even before I had a short break I had identified areas that needed strengthening and had targets in mind. The most important thing is that come the 15th July we have a team on the park that our supporters can watch with pride. “Buying a season ticket is your way of helping me rebuild the squad and getting a team on the park that you will want to cheer and support.” The Early-bird deadline is 3 July 2016 and buying before then will give you the best possible price for your 2016/17 United season ticket - and secure the Manager’s budget and allow him to chase his desired targets. To buy your season ticket you can do so with the following methods: - The quickest and easiest way is to do so online. If renewing online, you can save yourself up to £9 in p&p if you collect from the Ticket Centre. - You can also visit the Ticket Centre or contact 01382 833166 (option 1). - Should you wish to apply via Zebra Finance, please note you can apply online or complete the application online. Already thousands have shown they will help Ray rebuild and you can join them and be #ForeverTangerine.
