MATCH REPORT | A PROMOTION PARTY AT TANNADICE

The fixtures for the 2016/17 Ladbrokes Championship season have been announced and Ray McKinnon’s first competitive game in charge of Dundee United will be a home match at Tannadice Park.
Queen of the South is our opponents on the opening weekend (06 August) with our first away game taking place at Dumbarton. We host Raith Rovers, McKinnon’s old club, on 27 August.
Last season’s promotion play-off finalists Falkirk host us on 17 September and 1 March 2017 and arrive at Tannadice for their first visit on 29 October before returning on 8 April 2017.
We will travel to Easter Road on 1 October and 7 January 2017 and the Hibees will venture to Tannadice on 3 December and 11 March 2017.
Christmas eve (24 December) sees St Mirren visit Tannadice and we will travel to Dumbarton on New Years’ Eve (31 December).
Our last home game of the season will see Dumbarton as visitors on 29 April 2017and we bring the curtain down on the season away to Morton, on 6 May 2017.
