DEVELOPMENT SQUAD SET FOR OBAN

The Development squad will again represent the Club at the annual D & K Lafferty Cup tournament on Saturday 2 July 2016. The tournament will be held at Mossfield Stadium and Glencruitten Park, Oban. Dave Bowman will take his charges to compete against teams from Hamilton Accies, Alloa Athletic, Hearts and hosts Oban Saints. The #YoungTerrors will play four 40-minute matches in the round-robin format tournament which starts at 11am. The proposed fixture schedule for the United team is as follows: Dundee United v Hamilton Accies (Pitch 1 - 11am) Dundee United v Alloa Athletic (Pitch 2 - 1pm) Hearts v Dundee United (Pitch 1 - 2pm) Dundee United v Oban Saints (Pitch 2 - 3pm) Dundee United Media will be covering the matches for ArabZONE and a goals clip and interviews will be available on the development page of the members’ only website throughout the following week.
