Tony Smith, who joined United in the summer of 1999, is attracting interest from two Scottish First Division clubs.
Tony came to Tannadice on freedom of contract from Airdrie and although he has impressed everyone with his enthusiastic attitude he has only made five starts under two managers in his twenty-four months at Tannadice.
A move to a First Divison club may now be seen as his best opportunity to play regular first team football again.
