Tannadice boss Alex Smith has claimed that speculation over a transfer bid for Scotland striker Billy Dodds is well off the mark.
Suggestions of a return to Tannadice of the fans favourite have been rife since the little marksman fell out of favour in Dick Advocaat's Ibrox plans but Alex Smith admitted, "I was never in for him before, simply because Rangers did not make him available. And anyway, I am not all that keen on bringing players back."
Meanwhile Craig Easton has completed his suspension from last season and having missed the derby match last weekend, Craig will be thrust straight back into Alex Smith's selection thoughts for Saturday's visit to face Motherwell at Fir Park.
