United found it difficult to break the deadlock in today’s match at Fir Park which ended in a no-scoring draw.
The Tangerines started the game in disappointing fashion as Motherwell dominated the first half and missed several chances. United showed greatly improved form in the second half, hit the woodwork on two occasions from Paterson and Lilley efforts, and might have taken home all three points.
