NEW CONTRACT FOR GRAEME LIVESTON

20th August 2001

Dundee United made another important signing on Monday when chief scout Graeme Liveston put pen to paper on a new three year contract.

Over the years the long-serving member of the Tannadice backroom staff has been responsible for the likes of Duncan Ferguson, John O'Neil and Jim Paterson being brought to the club and boss Alex Smith is delighted he has agreed to prolong his stay.

''These days more than ever before it is important that clubs like ourselves find and develop their own talent and few are better when it comes to that than Graeme, so this is very good news for us,'' he said.
