The Terrors come into the game back of a 2-0 victory over Alloa in the William Hill Scottish Cup looking to keep the pressure on St Mirren at the top of the table.
Morton come to Tannadice buoyed by an excellent 2-1 Scottish Cup victory at Dunfermline.
United have two wins against Morton this season and will be looking to make it three ahead of a trip up the A9 to Inverness next Saturday. Earlier in the season, United secured a 2-0 victory down at Cappielow with a Billy King double and it was goals by Keatings and McDonald that ensured a 2-1 win at Tannadice back in September.
