NEXT UP: BRECHIN (A)

6th March 2018

Next up for the Terrors is an away trip to play bottom of the table Brechin. Glebe Park, like the rest of the country, has been battered by the extreme weather conditions however the home club is doing everything it can to have the pitch playable.

United have witnessed their last three games - all at Tannadice - postponed and this Saturday will herald the start of a six week period that will see 11 games take place. With several injured players returning or nearing a return from injury, the hope is that the enforced break has come at a good time for United.

Brechin have come close to breaking their league duck several times this season and will remain hopeful of a similar performance the last time United visited when an early second-half equaliser ensured a share of the points for the home team.

The belief is still that the team can secure promotion - albeit the situation at the moment appears to suggest a playoff scenario is the most likely but a couple of strong wins in the coming games may allow us to re-evaluate the hopes of all Arabs.

Police have agreed to the match being non-ticket and the following advice has been issued by Brechin City regarding admission.

Entry will be via cash turnstiles at each end of the ground.

Segregation will be in place, with gates opening at 2pm and fans are advised to arrive well in advance of kick-off.

Dundee United supporters will enter from the Trinity Road entrance and occupy the David H Will Stand on a first-come, first-served basis. Away fans will also be allocated the Hedge-side Standing Terrace down to the segregation gate.

Admission prices are as follows::

* Parent & Child: £18, with £2 payable for each additional child

* Adults: £15

* Concession: £8

The referee is Barry Cook and his assistant referees are Sean Carr and Iain Snedden.
