United are poised to restart signing talks with midfielder Craig Easton and contract talks with Tassos Venetis are set to begin.
Easton's existing deal expires at the end of October but both parties have stated that they do not envisage any difficulties as far as striking a new agreement is concerned.
Manager Alex Smith revealed, "I had a word with Craig while we were away with the Scotland Under-21s last week and we will get down to talking properly in the next day or two."
The contract of Greek Under-21 cap Venetis is up in December and he too is to be offered a new deal.
