The United Internet Focus Group met yesterday for the first time since the Official website went live online and the reaction among the group members was favourable. "This particular focus group is comprised of United staff and supporters who bring not only enthusiasm to the project but also expertise" said Commercial Manager Bill Campbell.
The group had been meeting for many months prior to the launch of the website and the members had a special domain address in order to access to the site as it was under development and to make comment. It was outlined at Tuesday's meeting that there were sections of the site that still required additional work as well as entirely new sections to be added.
Bill continued, "the focus group has proved to be an excellent sounding board as well as a source of valuable technical information. The members have put in their own time as have the many others in all our various focus groups. The focus group process appears to work well and I am sure that the Club's progressiveness in its supporter interaction will benefit all parties involved."
