UNITED INJURY CONCERNS FOR KILLIE TRIP

29th November 2001

With the SPL match against Kilmarnock less than 48 hours away, United continue to have injury concerns over a number of players.

Jamie McCunnie who had missed the Hibernian CIS Cup tie due to illness, has returned to training following a bout of the flu. Jamie Fullarton (above left) has been receiving treatment for a groin injury while David Partridge picked up a knee injury in the Under-21 match against Rangers on Monday evening.

Meanwhile Derek Lilley and Jim McIntyre are making good progress with their knee injuries while Ronnie O'Brien managed to train today having sustained an ankle injury and will be fit, if selected, for Saturday.

Manager Alex Smith said today that his squad for the visit to Rugby Park could include Tassos Venetis, Stephen Carson and young Stuart Duff.
