UNDER-21 TEAM FOR LIVINGSTON MATCH

12th November 2001

The United Under-21 team to play Livingston this afternoon has been announced and is as follows: Combe, Coccoza, Wright, Buchan, Duff, Hannah, Venetis, Paterson, Winters, Thompson and McConalogue.

David Hannah (left) has been selected to play in this afternoon's match at Ochilview against second placed Livingston. The match which has a 2.00pm kick-off will be a tough one against a Livingston Under-21 side who are proving that the Almondvale club has strength in depth. Hannah's return after missing two matches will add to the number of first team squad players who will also feature in the match.

Coach Maurice Malpas said, "Paterson and Thompson will play in order to maintain their match fitness levels. David Winters will return to the team after missing out of late due to the number of first team players who have been featuring. We are looking to continue with our performance levels of the last four or five matches in what will be a difficult game against an experienced Livingston team who never played at the weekend."

The United Under-21 team go into this match on the back of back to back 3-0 wins over Hibernian and Kilmarnock.
