United will kick off the new season in Sunday's match against Celtic wearing their new green kit, which went on sale today from the United Shop in Dundee (01382 204066).
The green kit is the first in a series of five strips paying homage to the Club's history as it moves towards its centenary in 2009. Its choice reflects the origins of United as Dundee Hibernian and this weekend's opponents Celtic, who played an important part in the early history of the club, extend this connection with the Club's first phase.
