ADAM ASGHAR TO LEAVE DUNDEE UNITED

2nd September 2022

Dundee United can confirm First Team coach Adam Asghar is leaving the club by mutual agreement.

Adam joined the club in 2019 as Head of Professional Performance, after working for Motherwell FC U18s and then following Andy Goldie to United from Scottish FA’s Braidhurst Performance School.

He played a significant role in the development of key United Academy players as Head Coach of the Under-18s before being promoted to First Team Coach in 2021 by then first-team Head Coach Tam Courts.

Academy

Adam helped the transition of several young players with 16 Academy graduates making the step up to play for United’s first team en-route to last season’s fourth-placed finish.

He continued that role this term but will leave the Club following Saturday’s cinch Premiership away fixture at Motherwell.

Adam leaves with our best wishes for his future career.
