The United Souvenir shop sales figures are extremely buoyant in the run up to Christmas 2001 with turnover double what it was in the corresponding period in 2000. Sales of replica kit have been exceptional and the TFG leisurewear range is proving very popular.
"Although we were confident of having a successful December, I must admit, the levels of activity have given us a pleasant surprise," admitted Commercial Manager Bill Campbell.
With two weeks still to go until Christmas, hopes are that high that sales levels will be maintained. "The Souvenir shop is opened every day up until Christmas and both stadium shops will be available this Saturday when Aberdeen come calling," continued Bill. "On Sunday and Monday, players will be at the Souvenir shop between 1pm and 4pm. This has often proved popular with United supporters and we anticipate a good turnout."
United merchandise can also be purchased by credit card by calling 01382 204066. Tannadice Times, available in Tannadice this weekend at the Aberdeen match, carries a four page pull-out on Club merchandise and other United gift ideas.
