CRAIG SIBBALD EXTENDS TANNADICE STAY

The United Under-21's recent run of success came to an end against Rangers last Monday and, this evening at Tannadice, the Young Tangerines have an opportunity to reverse the 3-4 defeat of seven days ago.
Coach Maurice Malpas was upbeat about his team's prospects. "After the disappointing finish to the match last week when we lost the game in the last five minutes, we are looking forward to this evening's fixture and to hopefully redressing the balance."
Maurice turned his attention to team matters. " First team squad palyers such as Alan Combe (pictured above), Steven Thompson, David Partridge, Ronnie O'Brien and David Hannah will feature along with the young lads who have done well recently such as David Winters. We are looking for senior players to guide the youngsters which will include Stephen O'Donnell who will make his debut for the Under-21's."
The United Coach spoke about the opportunities available in the first eleven. "We're looking for the same performance as last week with the result in our favour this time. After recent disappointing performances from the first team, the Manager has stated that there are places available for this week's game versus Livingston. An example of this is young Stuart Duff who made his debut against Kilmarnock on Saturday."
The match kicks off at 7pm with admission to season ticket holders free of charge on production of season ticket book. Pay at the gate prices are
