ALL THE INFO | HEARTS (H)

23rd December 2022

Christmas Eve action awaits as Hearts visit Tannadice for some festive football.

Here's all the info ahead of the match:

Opponent Lowdown

The Gorgie faithful are set to travel in numbers, with almost 2,500 tickets sold for the away end more than a week before kick-off and a raucous atmosphere brewing.

Last season, Hearts' third-place finish saw them secure a place in UEFA competition, first missing out on the Europa League through a play-off loss to FC Zurich of Switzerland, before dropping into the Conference League. Despite wins over Latvian-based RFS, Robbie Neilson's side crashed out of the competition at the group phase.

The Edinburgh side currently sit fourth in the table, putting Kilmarnock to the sword in a 3-1  win at Tynecastle last weekend.

Tannadice Talk

The United squad faced an intense training regime on their return, and Head Coach Liam Fox almost has a full playing group to pick from.

In addition, the Terrors will be buoyed by FIFA World Cup stars Dylan Levitt and Aziz Behich's return to training this week. The latter agonisingly missed out on a place in the quarter-finals as Australia suffered a 2-1 defeat to finalists Argentina, whilst Dylan, still only 22, was involved in his second major tournament with Wales in as many years.

Stevie Crawford, Dylan Levitt and Ian Harkes all spoke to DUTV this week ahead of the match.
