Having signed a two and half year extension to his contract, United's 21 year old Greek star Tassos Venetis is delighted to be staying in his adopted homeland. "I am really happy to have signed my future to the Club," stated Tassos. "There is a good atmosphere in the dressing room and I am happy living in Dundee. Everybody has made me most welcome and I enjoy playing in the SPL."
Tassos has made nineteen starts for the first team plus a further 23 substitute appearances and now he hopes to feature in the starting line up on a more regular basis. "It is good not to be going somewhere else because it would mean having to settle down again. I hope to get more starts in the future. The gaffer knows me, how I play and what I am capable of. I am very pleased that I will continue to be working for him."
