In a post-match interview, Under-18s coach Paul Hegarty spoke with disappointment of the poor showing of his youth team today. The young Tangerines were dispatched 0-3 by Celtic in a notably lacklustre performance. "I am afraid to say we didn't play particularly well, and our passing was found wanting. Celtic were the dominant force throughout and we never properly got into the game once Celtic went ahead with a free kick early in the match.
