Looking ahead to tonight's Under-21's action away to St Johnstone, Maurice Malpas was clear about the task at hand, stating: "After a very disappointing performance last week, the players will be out there to prove themselves tonight. Some will want to impress to gain new contracts, some to declare themselves fit and some to recommend themselves for inclusion in the Manager's thoughts regarding this Saturday's game versus Dundee. It is also our last match of the 2001/02 Under-21's campaign and we are looking to finish on a high note."
The match will also mark the return of Jamie McCunnie (pictured) from injury and suspension. Jamie will take tonight's opportunity to improve his level of match fitness.
United's line-up tonight: Jarvie, McCunnie, Cocozza, Gartland, Paterson, Carson, O'Donnell, Reilly, Ogunmade, Winters, McConalogue.
