“HEALTH BEARS FRUIT, FITNESS HOLDS WATER”

7th May 2002

The United first team gathered today at Gussie Park to lend the Club’s healthy lifestyle project “Unite-In-Fitball” its support. In the team photograph taken today, United’s players were backing the importance of keeping a healthy diet, clutching onto the bottled water and fresh fruit every Unite-in-Fitball participant picks up on the way home. Entitled “Health bears fruit, Fitness holds water”, the picture is intended to be symbolic carrier of United’s healthy lifestyle message. The team pic will be blown up into a poster and distributed as a free gift to everybody on John’s “Fitball” courses, together with the water and three pieces of fruit at each session. “Unite-In-Fitball” was launched last Thursday at the Dundee United School of Excellence and continues today at John Holt’s Futsal event at 4.30pm at Gussie Park. Why not turn up and be part of the action?
