UNITED SIGN ALLAN SMART

Today, Dundee United signed 27-year-old striker Allan Smart from Oldham, formerly of Watford, on a free transfer. Alex Smith stated: "We are delighted to eventually obtain Allan's signature. I have been interested in him for over a year. I watched him at Watford one evening when he scored four goals - at that time Watford asked over
