Another trialist arrived at Tannadice on Wednesday as Paul Sturrock steps up his search for new talent. To be able to fully assess his newcomers, the gaffer has reserved places for the three-match tour of Ireland next week.
Sturrock said,"Several trialists will play in a closed-door friendly on Satuday, then some of them will come to the Irish Republic with us."
Recent signing Jamie Buchan has missed training due to a hamstring injury, but fitness concerns over Alex Mathie, Jim Hamilton, and Craig Easton have eased.
The manager added,"I am very pleased with the fitness levels and the attitude of our players in training."
