A goal seconds before half-time has put United ahead at the interval in this afternoon's SPL match against Hibernian. The scorer was Tassos Venetis (pictured top left) who hit a volley on the turn from twenty metres to put the Tangerines ahead in a match played in glorious sunshine before an estimated attendance of over five thousand.
The match has been played at a steady pace, almost end of season at times, however with United eager to gain some revenge for the recent defeat at the hands of today's visitors while also attempting to keep within two points of city rivals Dundee.
