MAURICE LOOKS AT CANDIDATES FOR FIRST TEAM

Interviewed on Monday afternoon, U-21's Manager Maurice Malpas was looking forward with great interest to this evening's match away to Motherwell. "At the moment, our focus is on assessing the first team potential of our young side. Everybody at the Club has noted with excitement recent progression of Stuart Duff and Stephen O'Donnell to first team inclusion. Tonight we intend to take a closer look at young Danny Ogunmade in view of such possibility. He is a player who has been there or thereabouts for a wee while. And obviously, with Saturday in mind, we will monitor the form of Paterson (pictured), McConalogue and Winters who will also feature."
